    Bet that can gulp some fuel......

    Come across these vids while rooting about ......

    Rather awe inspiring i thought they wont be everyones cup of tea but worth a look .

    I think the Blue Marlin would made a fab Working model subject ...

    Come on all you Sub jockeys tell me how to go about this ..

    Try check out both sections the Mighty Servant is well worth a look too .

    Hi Chris,

    Having viewed the video, I think both of those ships would make very impressive working models if done right, Lots of scope there for all the working bits & always nice to see something different at the Boat Ponds, these would certainly fit the bill.

      I think It would be quite fun to use it to rescue stricken models at the pond ....

      just done some more rooting about on their site and found some general arrangement plans for the blue marlin at 1/750 scale .

      so if i rescale those to 1/175 ..........

      just dont understand how i would work out the hull profile .......

        That does depend on how detailed the drawings are that you have. So long as you have some decent 3 view drawings you should be able to work it all out no matter what scale you are doing.

        As for rescue ships at the Pond.....My thoughts exactly & what a great model to have !!
