    Sir William Wallace

I had my first sail of the old Queensferry Passage car ferry 'Sir William Wallace' yesterdai on a beautifully summy warm afternoon at Inverleith (Edinburgh). And for once everything worked a treat - unlike my subs! This is a model of the last of the Ferries to cross the Forth befire the opening of the bridge and is built in 1/43rd scale to accomodate the period cars. It is a paddker with independent paddle control via a Robbe Navy Twinstick. Not fast but steers well and is pretty stable.

Looks like a greeat model! Nice touch modelling in 1/43 so you can get the historic cars to load it up with too! And a lovely sunny day and nice calm waters too can't be bad - thanks for sharing!
