    Graupner beata problems

    Hi everyone,

I have a graupner beata and its fully working however, whenever the boat is at full throttle it isn't going as fast as it should. I have seen videos on youtube and the front of the boat is ment to come out the water. Any ideas wat the problem could be ???

    Thanks,

    Mike

That is a pretty open question Mike so I can only offer suggestions.

Firstly we need to be sure that all the recomendations of the kit manufacturer have been met as regards prop size, motor, battery voltage etc and that the model is ballasted to the correct level and at the correct trim.

If that is all as it should be then you will have to look for specifics to your model. Firstly disconnet the motor and check that the motor and the prop are both free to turn. Connect them and feel again. They should be just as free when connected as they are apart. Do you have a flexible coupling?, is everything just as free with that connected?

How about the stern tube. If everything is free it should be Ok but if not you might have resistance there due to alignement or incorrect lubricant in the tube.

Lots of things to check but by a process of elimination you should be able to get to what the problem is.
