    Free Plans Sought!

I have the sudden urge to "throw" together a model boat hull. I know what I'm looking for. I'm looking to make one about 12" long, probably of speedboat style. Bulkhead and planking construction. If I get that far I might cover the hull in glass cloth and deck. I don't think I'll actually get as far as installing a power unit.

So far google hasn't brought up a happy answer.

    Howdy again entity,

Well, I cant help you with plans for a wooden boat hull unless you want to get technical and say that paper is made from wood lol. But here is a link to free card models of a few ships you might want to try out. all are free to download and made nice models. some have bulkheads and all: Downloads

If ya think you want to look at others, let me know and I have plenty of links for you... I even have links to a couple of subs.

    Have a good day,

    Greg aka GEEDUBBYA (GW)

ps:, you might look in the card model section of our forum for some other cardmodels which I and others have posted .

Hi Entity, very few 12" models about as they are not that stable on a pond, try to get a copy of August 'Model Boats' there is a free plan of a 1960's Sea Hornet speed boat plus the build instructions, over all it is about 18" long, construction is Balsa, you can check back issues on customer.services@magicalia.com. regards, Aquarama

p.s I have a copy but copying wll cost more than the magazine.
