I am now doing a project on underwater robot control system, and I bought an ADC-1 from subtech and intent to use it to control my depth. But during the testing stage, i realized that it is only sensable until 15cm, I thought it can measure until 2meter?
My setup is as follow, I connect the rubber tube to the bottom of a high cylinder water container, i wrote a simple program to capture the output from ADC-1, and also i can change the value input to ADC-1.
During the testing, I kept adding water into the water container and observe the variation of output (which is 915 -1830) from ADC-1, at the same time, i can change the input also. But no matter wat input i gave to ADC-1, it seems the maximum value 1830 would not change after 15cm depth of water was filled into the cylinder.
Can you give me some suggestion on this? Thanks in advance.
