my 2nd model ever Revell 1/542 USS Saratoga CV-60

This is my 2nd model i have ever did and tested my patience alot haha

i just love aircraft carriers its just something about them i thought i had died and gone to heaven about 8 years ago now uss jfk cv-67 ported into

dublin for 3 weeks layover i have hundreds of photos of her as i worked in a printing lab at the time and kept copying peoples photos of her just a naughty boy i was my dream is to go to the states and see as many aircraft carriers as i could in naval bases i would be like a little child , another dream of mine is to do the tamiya uss enterprise i dont think i could take the risk of doing such a prject at the moment as i would not be up or close to the level of construction.. anyway here is my uss sara cv-60 as you can see from this model i know now what silvering is... its all a learnin curve :-)

    tansed hi,

For a 2nd model that's pretty impressive, I'd say you have a natural talent so keep up the good work. Oh and welcome, buy the Tamiya now so when you do feel up to it she will be ready and you may save yourself some cash in the long run.

Hey, great loooking model, fantastic paint job on the aircraft.

I'm keen to tackle this one myself. Any idea on the length (in millimetres) of the FA-18 etc? I guesstimate about 31mm at 1/542 scale.

                Cheers
