    how to make sail rigging

    Hi

I'm keen to do my first sailing ship...Airfix "Capt. Cook's 'Endeavour' " but the sight of all that rigging is awesome.

    Needs 226 metre 0.3mm thread/ 26 M 0.6mm...

Do you make each shroud seperately and glue horizontals...or glue each vertical onto model then xpieces.

Can anyone talk me thru' this please ??

You should have in the kit what looks like a triangle with notches in it, when i built the Victory i used black cotton. You wind the cotton around the triangle vertical and the wind it round horizontal then use a watered down pva and paint it all in the frame. When it is dry you just simply cut it out.
