    H.M.S. Walker. 1941

Hello. I am researching H.M.S. Walker, the V&W Class destroyer, with a view to buliding an R/C model in 1:48 scale. I already have a Sirmar hull but the plans are for a Wair. I'm looking for plans of the Walker, or photos or anything!, as she was in early 1941: that is to say, aft TT removed but before she was converted into an L.R.E. Anyone here have any ideas? Please!

    Chris.

I have an old postcard which is of your ship

which i use on my ebay a/c website ( about me )

    as my surname is walker

HMS Vanquisher WW1 & WW2 Royal Navy Destroyer Warship on eBay (end time 11-May-10 16:41:26 BST)

if you click on my ebay details there is a photo of the ship

she has 3 TT forward , with only a twin TT as she was a minelayer

if you need more detail , just use any suitable drawing of a W Class

as the detail is essentially similar

    regards David
