Robert E Lee Steamboat

Hi folks,

I've just bought the Revell 1/271 Robert E Lee. I'm trying to find if anyone has built this kit, or knows where I can find a review.

I'm not a rivet counter but I'd like to end up with something that looks like a Mississippi paddle steamer. All I need to know is whether this kit can be built by someone with very modest modelling skills.

I built this model years ago. It is a challenge but if you take your time you will end up with a very beautiful model of the Robert E. Lee.

I seem to recall I won this particular model through Revell Corporation....but I could be wrong.
