I was wondering if anyone was aware of the existence of a kit of the above?
Elco made over 700 of these launches with about 580 going into RNVR service in WWI. Some undertook some seriously dangerous work and essentially kept the Channel free of Germans for the duration of the war.
During the Ostende and Zeebrugge raids they were instrumental in ensuring the safe recovery of the block ship crews.
They were also known as "The Movies" due to their tendency to bob about in the water quite a bit and crew often referred to themselves as "Emmelites"
Any information on kits of these would be appreciated.
cheers,
bj
