I goth a few question abouth modeling ship

Hi!

Imm from Croatia,and my English is bad,so sorry for thath,i hope you will understund me!

Before i was build craft,butt all models have been of plastic,and from the shop.Now i decide to make my models from wood,myself,pieace by pieace,all make of my hand!

So i decide to build sailing ship"White Rose".This ship is not model from real ship,i made it from my imagination,with no blueprints.

Butt imm "fresh" with build ships and i goth some question:

-What to put into deck of the ship?(Ok i will put on rudder,maybe some shaft),becose my deck seems so empty.

-How much i must make height,width of the sail?(my ship is 50 cm lenght,15 cm width)
