    Italaeri 1/35 Schnellboot

I'm a new arrival to this sort of thing, I live in Australia, and have recently bought the above kit from HLJ. They have it at 62% disc. at the moment!!! Next to the bridge, near the torpedo loading gate, on the side of the boat, are mounted two gate valve handles, all on their own! No pipes, no indication of why they are there! Does anyone out there in Scale-Models land know of any references which might help me detail this area? Seems to be very little on the net.

      Scott,

I did search, using Google and three other search engines, but found very little in the way of detail photos or drawings. I was disappointed to find that the most common result I got was some commercial site wanting to sell me the Italaeri or Revell kits. Not many years ago, you got what you asked for, not some ad! I'll keep looking.

I could be wronge (more than likely) but if you refer to the two at the top of the stairs, adjacent to the leopard marking, I think that they are just a grab handle for getting off the stairs on to the gangway....
