National Model Boat Show, Coalvile.

Well i poped along to this show as i said i would... I picked up a few bits for the Happy Hunter so i was quite happy. I snapped some pics for you boat guys, these are all sailing vessels.

98% of these are scratchbuilt from plans PHEW!!! I though i was mad but some of these guys spend years building 1 ship. Some real top notch builders there if they would only look at weathering it would make all the difference, anyway, well done to all these guys i say,

Thanks Ian. This boat building hobby is sure cheaper that the Plane one I got about 50 LEDs of all colors and shapes for the lighting and all the cable, switches and resistors for £35.00, i also brought a 9 man crew for the boat, some rope and an acid etched search light and a few other bits and bobs and tools.

All the guys there were very friendly and all happy to offer advice.

Yet another great show i seem to have missed with moving up here ... Coalville is just a couple of miles away from where i used to live...

Looks like you got a nice few goodies from the show Andy, i remember looking at all the boats they had when a club was going at Barrow-upon-Soar (club might still be active?) ... impressive even back then, and as you say everyone quite friendly
