Electric motor/s for Perkasa 1/24th 49inch Precedent wood kit

Electric motor/s for Perkasa 1/24th 49inch Precedent wood kit

Hi all, I expect this question has been asked many times but I hope someone might be able to help with some suggestions of which size motor/s to use etc.

I was given this kit for Xmas as my new project as I have had to sell my 'N' guage train set (used to be in loft for 15 years!) due to moving & now no loft!!! I have done alot of scratch modelling in the past, including digital controlling electrics etc & due to the restraint of the noise where I could launch the boat, I wish to put in electric motor/s. Any suggestions???

I have seen an article where Dave Abbott from Model Boats in 2009 put in twin motors in a Nautical Marine Model 1/32nd scale kit but with a GRP hull, I am thinking along the same line.

    Ta! Alan
