    1/350 Oelikons

I am thinking of replacing the kit oelikons for the HMS Warspite with pe ones, but all I can find is USN style oelikons. How do they differ from the ones used by the RN during WWII and could I use these USN ones?

    Thanks

This one is from USS Hornet

This one is from HMS Dido
They both look very similar to me Graham so i don't think it would matter if you use the US ones

    Hope this helps

I think the difference was in the mount/pylon that they sat on. Which I doubt will be easy to see in that scale.

The pe parts arrived, I think I'll need a large magnifing glass just to see the parts let alone bending them

We're gluttons for punishment don't you think! We buy a kit then make it difficult for ourselves.
