Massive help required - hull damaged.

    Help!

I'm building the Alanger 1:350 Typhoon submarine, and there's been an accident.

the kit fell from its stand and came to rest on the heater whilst I was on the phone, melting a large section of the upper hull. I have cut the section away, to salvage the rest of the hull. My question is: how to fill the gap? Oh, and it needs to be hollow...

Yep. Plastic card is the way to go with that one.

what about a piece of poly pipe the same diameter as the damaged area then plastic welded into place then tidy the join up as required

As said, but make 3 or 4 circular diaphragms to help keep the shape. Derek
