    Day 46

This is the method im using to get the cables and water lint into the outboard. I think it will look better than having Heat shrink on them.

        Day 47.

Thank Polux, We are almost complete on this one. Time to fit the ladder construction in place and you will now see the idea I had for the retractable side ladders.

          Day 48

I decided that the outboard should have some protection so I set to work on the brass again.

            Day 49

This is a good time to fit the motor, prop and water cooler having soldered the push fit connectors to the motor and cables.

              Day 50

At the end of the inflatable there are cones and these had to be simulated. I did this by purchasing a couple on nose cones from my mates model shop and modified them to suit.

Time to complete this rear end. Here you will see I fitted the outboard guard and finished painting the cones.

Still a few bits to add yet before the divers go on-board so don't run away just yet.

                Cheers

Thanks guys. I haven't thought about a prop guard. I will have to research them and have a look.

Where I work they use Safety boats & QHM (QUEENS HARBOUR MASTER) also use them and they all use prop guards on this type of boat.

Hope u don't think im sticking my nose in it was just a thought.

This is the type used by them after some one lost there leg while being rescued.

Thanks John. I welcome ideas as they add to the detail. That looks great... I will have to see what I can use to make one.

I have been packing some flood lights for that flat looking rear end. Think the look ok.

Time to get them mounted. Some you will see have lamps in them.
