Thank you Greg.
Steve, many thanks.
Scottie, thanks sir !
Today I sprayed on different shades of greyblue working from dark to lighter ones. The steel plates and the ramp were masked and sprayed in a couple of rust colours and then given a firm layer of hairspray (not from the can, I used my airbrush pistol). I then covered this with two shades of light greyblue (thinned with water). Next thing to do is to carefully remove the paint here and there to create scratches and reveal the rust beneath it.

Let's hope the paint softens they way I want it, I prefer subtle rust effects.
Nice work Guy. And those photos look astonishing. Almost seems a 3D render of the model in stead of the real deal. Looking forward to see the chiperizing!
Hi Guy...I'm craning my neck trying to see over these guys who are starting a crowd. I echo the same comments as them. It doesn't look plastic and that's a positive. You have a real LCVP in your back yard and taking pictures of them aren't you.:smiling2:
