    Pete's Tug Boat.

Hi this is my next build a harbour tug boat.

    WARNING SUNGLASSES ON

    PARTS.

Started with the hull and deck. The deck which had a few of ejector pin marks which all had to be removed.

    Propeller and rudder.

    Gunwale bands and cleats

Bulwarks which had a lot of ejector pin marks which all had to be removed.

Blanked off rear section and added three doors

Added white rod as decorative trim to hide molding defects.

    Thank you for looking.
    Pete.

      Hi Peter,

Great start and more sophisticated process than my attempt at building the same a while back. You'll enjoy it as much as I did and what a weird scale it was. Here's a shot of my finished Tugboat...

      Cheers,
      Richard

        Hi Pete
Having built this recently I will certainly follow your build. There will definitely be times when the bin will seem like the best place for it :smiling3: :smiling5:

                            Got abit more done.

On the funnel I removed the moulded ladder, drilled holes for 0.4 copper wire and made new ladder, drilled out horn, added wire to horn.

                            Thank you for looking .
                            Pete.

Hi finshed off the funnel, added new decking, made lid & hinges to stowage box, added clear plastic to the all portholes.

Onto the lower superstructure, added clear plastic to all the portholes, made 4 x clamps to secure the fire axes handlles. made a lid & hinges to stowage box.
Fitted to deck and primed the inside will be white.

                              Mockup.

                              Thank you for looking.
