Well im still working on these funnels. all of the handrails are now complete and i took a look at the vents and the blast flaps. Most of these bits are decals and i didnt want to use them for obviouse reasons. Behind the blast flaps at the top were supposed to go a plain black square decal and then the flaps are glued on in the semi open position... i decided to cut out the openings and i will paint the inside black. Next were the main vents with the louvers. a decal with straight lines on it didnt quite cut it for me. I wanted to fit the louver covers and make them look a little un uniformed and battered a little as they should be so i set to work with the evergreen stuff and managed to complete one tonight. When painted and a little soot added i think they should look quite good.

Continuing on the superstructure for now and have completed the lower deck build, there still is a way to go on this part yet once i can see what has to be added after the primer. Didnt go together too badly i thought. A nice kit to work with realy.
