Day 35

Progress on the funnel, enough bits added for me to be able to prime this section.

      Day 36

Time for primer. I will still leave the funned removable it will make it easier to weather I think.

I also managed to paint the water tank but it had two different shades of green before I decided on this one. Should look good with some streaking grime. It wouldn't be in a position for taking a bashing so there will be little work to do on this part. I think the extra detail I added makes it look a little more convincing to the eye.

          Day 37

I was away last night so I got nothing done, however, tonight was a different matter, see for yourself. More weathering to come yet.

I love what you have done to the funnel. That looks very sooty! Nice.

Thanks Ian, I used Black pigments and a good stiff bush. Came out great I'm impressed (very smug expression on face).

              Cheers

Just caught up on this Andy (ive been sitting around a bit mojo-less for some reason)

Any way .... to the point .... you deserve to have that smug look from what I see in those photos

                      Day 38 - 39

More progress on the front cabin section. Still no planking!! this will prove to be a problem if I don't get any soon as I need it before I can start the next deck level.

                            Hi Andy,

I have never really been a boat person, but this is simply stunning Sir, each time I see that you have posted I pop in to check it out and each time I am impressed...

                            Andy...

                              Cheers

See what happens when I don't keep up with progress?

Brilliant stuff Andy...It's come on leaps and bounds since I last looked. The weathering is excellent - top marks!
