The other day have been on the big city Andy, there is a model shop that has a similar ship.... then, I cannot avoid remember your fantastic build!!And think...you could go or follow Andy, he must not be alone on this!!
Thanks Polux, im sure you would do just as good a job if not better with one of your kit builds
As for the other two Ian - well. Colin has an excuse because he is probably still under the influence of his birthday celebrations. Ole is probably letting his hair down a little by joining in lol.
Thanks Joe, glad to see you haven't been drawn in by these two wild boys haha
In short mate... what we mean is if you join in the build then all the rest of us will look like we've done a 'blue peter' job with some cornflakes boxes and a bog roll
Then next job im dreading is the stern hand rails. There are angles to be taken into consideration and soldering to do also. Because of the heat these cant be made on the model so a jig has to be made.
The model radius is greater than the drawing radius so I made a template.

Didn't turn out to bad, be better with a coat or two of paint.
Thanks guys, fantastic comments as usual, appreciated. I have now completed the stern handrail and added a few more bits to complete the stern end. Still working from the rear the next part to complete is the rear cabin bit.
Work started on the rear cabin. I have fitted most of the parts now but have come to a halt as I need to build the spare anchor before I can place the retaining parts.
