Hi Andy,

I agree with Mr Ron, this is brilliant Sir, I have had to use a bandage to hold my jaw...

May I ask, is it a real hose or is it moulded plastic...

        Andy...

          Day 65

Thank you all for the great comments. Andy the hose is white metal painted with acrylic paints.

I have now completed the wheelhouse apart from the seat and pilot. This will be next on the agenda once I have completed the wiring terminals underneath.

The first thing I wanted to do was to install a trunking to take the wiring from the mast, search light and radar. I then added some conduits, conduit and junction boxes for that extra added scale touch.

Once complete it was time to install the radio gear.

Next thing in line was the dash and other bits.

And now - the wheelhouse in place. Still away to go on this yet folks so don't worry. Lots more to come.

              Day 66

Thanks Ole. I have now completed the wiring terminals and plugs underneath the wheelhouse and fitted the hand rail.

Next job it to paint the Cox so I can fit him and the seat in the wheelhouse. There is some filling and sanding to do before paint.

at the beveridge park theres a pond in kirkcaldy where all the boat enthusiasts go to sail their boats, this would put them boats to shame, and people would look at it in awe, just looks so beautiful andy top marks, and good luck on the cox.

Thanks guys, you are all inspiring. Well I finished the Cox apart from a couple of coats of Matt Varnish that need applying. See what you think. The helmet sits on his right knee under that hand that I cut the fingers down on.

                      Step one - Primer

                            Day 68

having done a little research I have added a few minor detail changes that are different to the paint scheme that comes with the figure. These are now true and correct. Cox complete and in place.

Oops! well I tried to upload the pics but it wouldn't have it. Ill try again later. Sorry guys, perhaps John needs to look at something.

                            Cheers
