Titanic with a difference

I have a revell 100th anniversary titanic but what i would like to know is this, had she not sunk she would have entered the first world war as a troopship or a hospital ship.

Witch one would prefer the easy paint hospital ship or the more challenging dazzle paint of the troopship

That an interesting idea, you could go further, what would she be now, a museum ship, a floating casino, could be even more interesting.

She would probably be exactly the same as all ships of the same age now, scrap!

I don't know she was the biggest of her time, with lots of technological advances, she may have been saved look at the Cutty Sark and the victory, much older

Why not do both? Olympic was a troop ship in Dazzle scheme. Britannic was a hospital ship in white with red crosses and green stripe.

I have been interested from early time about titanic ,it was the first model 2010 to kick start modelling for me each ship has it's own story titanic more coz of loss of life but there certain things at play human error , and the hype around the unsinkable side it'll be interesting to see what way you go cry

Her sister ships were of the same calibre but maybe smaller. I think even if she would have made it to America unscathed she still would end up scrap at some time as the First World War took such casualties not only in human life but industry and the like. Yes advances she made true but look what happened to the Hindenburg, the B-29,Concorde, All things created by man have their time in history and development and cost make them obsolete.

Tragic as it was with the loss of human life the Titanic should remain as she is and remembered as such.

This is only a personal view and not meant to offend in any way

                      Regards

                      Robert

All the same size Robert, just slight differences in internal, namely passenger comfort or leisure areas, and external-Titanic has a enclosed boat deck section.

They all would have been scrapped if they had survived. Nature of the times.

An interesting fact is a nurse on the Britannic survived that sinking, and the Titanic sinking and also was on the Olympic when she had the collision with the Hawke.

Strewth Peter, I thought the 'dazzle' on my HMS Belfast was difficult enough......This would be nigh on impossible for me to even attempt to have a go at!

                            Good stuff...
