i have had some personal set backs hence no updates , or build plus a couple of mistakes i have noticed and a break in one off the rib surports still trying to find a path or replace ,but will be dissembling certain parts which i want to avoid if possible .
left side third rib broken ,re glued but weak don't know if it'll take pressure i have replacement part , unless i can find a way of attaching something to strengthen broken part
With regards the planking, if you have access to a steam iron if you run the steam iron over the section you want to bend and gently lift the other end you can get very acute bends without the plank snapping.
WHat I do for the planking is to use a length of plastic tube from a plumbing store with a twist cap at both ends. Put the planks in the tube with hot water, so they are thoroughly soaked, it will make bending the planks easier.
I was chatting to a chap,about planking ,and he said they use bleach as well,
I have not gone into research about it,
and I do real like Graham ,method to sock the planks,
