The bridge is now ready for spraying. These photos show just the bits I have built. There is still a lot of PE and white metal bits to fit. This is all dry fitted. Most of the parts are soldered together.

Graham, the cross shaped bit in the centre of the raised deck/platform in the middle photo needs cutting out it is a part needed for later.
I hope you haven't closed it in yet.

Thanks, The assemblies in the pictures are made from a 2nd bridge set, as I had a disaster with some of the parts I'd built from the 1st set; I managed to crush some of the assemblies. So I already have this bit cut out and made from the 1st set.

Very late to this great build, so apologies Graham.
Your skill with the soldering iron is to be admired.
                John.

I have been working on this, but I keep forgetting to post the pictures. The main bridge is nearly finished, just the splinter padding and some spotlights to add.
The bridge has just been placed on the deck.

The covering of the railings is made of tissue paper and painted.

These are the splinter padding bags. Just need to finish the low lights and stick them to the railings.

Been working on the boiler room. Had to repaint the white a number of times as I painted it the wrong colour white. So I used isopropyl alcohol to remove the paint. The good thing was that it did not remove the primer, just the paint. Still got the mast and some boxes and railings to put on the forward part. (The taller part)
