      I have just spent I morning and half an afternoon finishing and varnishing one skylight and making a set of steps to go inside and finally installing on deck.Click image for larger version

          HI Peter well that deck you have build looks just like the real thing v-nice indeed an great to see some nice big pics as all the detail can be seen an you
          done well to build them steps in a day or so an the skylite. but them portholes did they come with the kit as im looking for some like that for my new build when I get that far

            The portholes are part of the kit but they can be brought separately.

                          Planking good work Peter are you finding it hard to bend the planking on the bow ?. As when I build my ships on a scratch build hull I normally have to steam the wood to get it to bend whithout snapping

                              The planks seem to be very forgiving as thy only need a quick soak.
