Hi Ian, nice looking kit with lots of bits, not a good place to put a company logo that's for sure.
I'll be keeping an eye on your progress if that's ok.
      Pete.

That worked out a lot better than I thought it would.

The caulking looks to be a little proud of the deck planks. If you can't scribe it you could use short lengths of cotton.
        Jon.

Been trying to find the right colour for the so called correct colours now on the Victory.

This picture show the right colour, yes both colours are the same.
So I’ve gone with this a mixture of Vallejo flat flesh topped with cork brown.

Now that it's painted the sanding of the name is hardly noticable.

Those cannon on the main deck are just cheating - I'd have had to whip them off and add wheels etc :smiling5:

I have the Airfix one in the stash - bit smaller scale than this one though. Really must give it a go sometime

                        Looking good Papa :thumb2:
Smart to keep the 2 parts seperated, helps a lot with painting I assume.
                        Cheers,
                        Steven

                          Very nice Ian.
I see that you have gone with the more muted colour of yellow ochre.

Yes you have to do it really, otherwise with all the cannons sticking out it would be a bit more difficult.

Thanks Ralph, it’s a mixture of Flat Flesh and Cork Brown from Vallejo.

Got the 2 hull halves and decks fitted, also quite a few of the cannons.
