If you back pain is sciatica, cooling is better than warming. I get it so bad sometimes that my leg is as good as dead, apart from the pain telling me I am very much alive?
The sciatic nerve swells and gets pinched. By cooling it you reduce the swelling and the pinch gets released. I have a hot water bottle that I fill with cold water from the fridge. Put it over the small of my back, lean back and try to relax.
If it is muscular pain the warmth and massage is the way to go.

HI Ian yes i was told by docs its scatica but this all stems from my back injury back in 1987 at work as the docs told me after accident that my spinal coloum has some crushed disked an the nervers are all trapped in between an had three epidaurals injections in my back but only stopped pain for a few months then starts again but if yours like mine god it hurts

Your capability with all those wires never ceases to amaze me Chris, you are doing a great job there.

HI Andy yes i love doin wireing should have been a electrain instead of a welder an yes i sometimes amaze myself that it all works what i have put togeather but that for me is the challenge of doin it but yes i admit i made a b*lls up on that stern wirein as thinking things through on that wireing i could have left it all in if them wires had'nt failed up at the hull jiont plug but no help for it its all got to be done again so a good dose of patience an enthusiasm is now required when that 44 pin plug comes i will get stuck in again untill it all works
                      thanks for havin a looksee

AN while i think of it i dont know if anyone has noticed that the right hand side cam is not yet wired up an the reason for this that these cam switches are to power units in the stern section an in there are units that need different power voltages such as 12v an 9v an 6v an i think 5v an 3v so untill that plug turns up i have left it with its just test wires on for now

AN G/M Neil thanks but how do i hold that in my head well i dont know it just comes as remember all this is just circuts an jump circuts an if i simplyfie things its just think you have a batt at one end an a unit that needs power at the other end of the wire an if it works when the neg is all wired in then thats it but this ship is like that but several times over best i can exsplain it i hope this helps you understand Neil but i must admit getting all the units where they should be an getting them to work is a bit more complex like the wireing in your car its all thought out an planned ahead an so is this ship hows that
