boatman's 1/72 HMS Tiger C20 build

The same type of connectors were in the new LED batten light I fitted in my attic and they are so easy to use.

Fully confident that you'll sort this slight hitch out. Certainly sounds like either a broken wire or dry joint (both are a right PITA to find)

THANKS Gerry an yes you are right it is a right PITA to find the bad jiont as i will have to test every wire where there is a jiont as this negative takes the return jionts from all 4 motors an also the jiont that feeds the bow thruster ESC an some other smaller wires from other sorucess so 7 or more jionts an i think id better check all the main red live wires that go through these units to feed them power so yes Gerry its gonna be a
b* gger to find as im just replacein the neg wire but if still trouble then the positive wires all will be replaced as so far ive fitted in 3 different ESC an still the problem so i dont think its them the thats the cause an yes im goin to have a good xmas no matter what but i cant leave it to long as ive tagged the wires where they go an it will only be on my mind so i want to get this sorted ASAP an

HI ALL well i had a good think on what is the best course of action to sort out this motors problem an thinkin on what Tim said about that all the wires some maybe good an he was right as i tested them an an wired them back into the motors wirein harness an found that there were 3 lose connections which i have tightened up an to my amazement one of the main feed wires on the ESC to the motor the solder had broken so i fixed that an now im pleased to say that all 4 motors work ok but had enough today but tomorrow will go back to man cave an put all the other wires an the gun fire unit back into the ship so SUCCSESS

No need for the London diversion, just send her into the broads area, that'll confuse her for years! :surprised:Or to be really shot of her - to the Elmhams triangle in North Suffolk/South Norfolk (really can get lost in there!)

YES they are PaulE IMAGINE the prop wash an thrust from them props must be 12 feet accross but then tiger was a big ship for bein classed as a light battle cruiser an the white lines are for guidein divers in case any one wonders

YES looks like it lets hope John he an'it as dumb as me on eletrics lol
but just think of the size of the servos an ESC in this bueaty lol an the R/C set lol
