AN too make sure I have enough rainbow ribbin wire I bought 5 mertes of it this will be soldered to two 44 pins electric plugs that will be fitted in the hull joint so that when I part the model in to two bits it will slide back nicely in each other an this will power all the servo's in the model (I hope if I can get it all in )Click image for larger version

well that's enough of that for now back to the build I have spent all last wk making up all 8 bilge keel's these are fitted to ships to reduce rolling an it was a devil of a job to try an measure around the hull to get the all at the right angle as when I fit the 6 stabilizers 3 on each side of the ship an these will be all working Click image for larger version

HERE if you look closely ive cut out two slots for the prop sharfts at the stern end but just done two in case they are not in the correct position if they are then i'll cut out the other side :cold-sweat:an it seems to me its goin to be a devil of a job to fit in all 4 sharfts an get them right but im enjoyin the challenge Click image for larger version

You could always build dry dock in the garden! Really admire the hard work Chris

How many ships have you built???

ANYWAY here in this pic ive fitted two starboard side prop sharfts in loosely to see if I have got the length of the sharft's right an they must not be angled down but they must be faceing straight backwards if not it wont sail correctlyClick image for larger version
