AN AFTER fittin in the runnin light nxt up was the fittin of the 2mm red anti collishion leds an this was a bit tricky as i wanted to run the wirein along inside the 2mm brass box section an it worked out fine thank goodness a few shots of it happening.Firstly in the brass cross member i had to use my dremel to grind off half an inch of the bottom so that as i feed the wirein through it will come out inside the mast Click image for larger version

                        Hi Chris
Fabulous work on the LEDs/lighting and the radar tower in general. It all seems to be coming together now. This model will be epic when finished and a great partner to your HMS Norfolk. With regards to the etch, I’d probably solder it, but i see you’re dilemma in painting it with rattle cans.

Looking great! Keep up the fabulous work
                        Cheers
                        Paul

Chris this quite something, think the paint method you've described is right, far to close with that mesh to paint with a can. I'm sure you will crack the radar and make a splendid job of it.:thumb2:

Holy mackerel, that's some impressive scratching again! Love the additions of the LED's!

                            Cheers
