HI Neil yea plenty of scratchbuilding on this BRIDGE SUPER STRUCKURE as that why its looks a bit grubby as its due to pencil lines being rubbed out again an again as all the pics ive looked at an the reseach ive done an drawin on the lines only to find its all wrong so out comes the rubber an then start again as all the pics are so different in places thats one of the troubles tryin to scratch build a warship is that they alter them around so much like new radars bein fitted or a new weapons fit the list is some times endless an i know i should say right i'll build it in that period but lookin again its all different so ive just fitted what i think is right
an thanks Neil for stoppin

HI Tony thanks yea im pleased with the bridges but i just wish i could get more done but as this ship is so complex i spend half my time on rsearch of the plans tryin to see that what im building is right but a lot of the pics of her are all different
when i look at them so its a job to know what goes where an i get my ship fitting from fleetscale models an props from jutek i think it is an bending plastic rod just warm it up a bit then bend an same with me i cant wait to build
the gun turrerts the small one just in front of the bridges are twin 3" guns an the front big turret is a twin 6" guns but im afraid they are a fair way off yet as still a heck of a lot to fit on the S/S an i got to build both big funnels so a lot to do

HI Tony yea i aggree it is difficult building with out plans as im finding out on my plans on some things there is just an outline of whatever its suppose to be an reseach is difficult as there is not much on the web about HMS TIGER so i'll have to wing it on some things as there is so much to build an fit on as i found out today i did some foward planning an found out the rear batt that i wanted is too big to fit in the hull as i made up a cardboard mock up of said batt but it will fit in the front section so its gonna be both batts are goin to have to be back to front to exsplain on that the big motors batt will have to fit in the front section an the front batt will have to be fitted in the rear section OH BOY WHAT A BOO BOO

Bridgework well done Christopher. :thumb2:
I don't envy you as the larger the scale, more detail needs to be addressed. But I can understand the overkill part like on the Oxford I'd like to add every bib and bob but there's a limit. :smiling3:
Looking to see the funnels and how you add the smoke. Turrets are the next I'm interested on whether you'll be making them operable.
Happy building.
Cheers,
