HI ALL well another update on whats happening on her
an its taken me 3 days of soldering all 44 wires to their mini plugs sockects so its 44 soldered jionts in the bow section plug sockects an 44 soldered jionts to the mini plug sockets stern section but i have now finished them accessoryies wireing thank god

so all in all 88 soldered wire jionts an what a marathon soldering job its been (phew ) would not want to do all them again in a hurry so the first pic is a shot of all 44 wires comin down into the hull from the hull jiont plug in the bow section as these wires pass under the front battery bay an the steam unit to be split up 24 wires on the straboard side an 20 wires on the port side an you may ask why 24 wires on one side an only 20 wires on the other side well its all to do with the mini plug sockects as they all have 4 pins in each so 4 wires to each plug sockect so it 6 x plug sockects on starb side for 24 wires an 5 x plug sockects on the port side with 20 wires so all in total wires is 44 wires hope you guys understand that best i can exsplain it

an here a shot of the stern section of the hull with its wires comin in again the wires all split apart to 24 an 20 wires to suit the bow hull section hope it is 'nt to complex an again these wires will go in under the battt bay an off to where the mini sockeccts will be fitted for ease of knowing which wires are which they are all numbered Click image for larger version

Lots of wiring going on then Chris. I know you’ve numbered the wires for fault finding, but do you have a diagram or is it all in your head?

an ive still got plenty of them plugs an sockects so if some do get hot an melt with the power goin through them it will be a simple matter of replaceing them but i dont think this will happen at all but better to have some spares is'nt it so thats them all done except for testing themClick image for larger version

All that wiring must be a bit tedious but I am sure the finished article will be a great sight to behold, well done you.

                              Andy.
