It's ok Chris, she's got to find us first - knowing Norfolk and Suffolk countryside, plenty of places to get her lost in from N. Walsham, Paston Street, Wroxham, the Elmhams, Mundford, Grimes Graves, Lynton, etc. etc.:upside:

HI Gerry well in my opinoin Grimes Graves sounds just the place to lose matron in an hopefully she'll stay lost in their as it sounds a spooky place by its name lol :rolling: :smiling2: an im just now fittin all 11 big aerierals on the main S/S an hangar as cant do much at the moment as got bad back pain an i think its a kidney stone so not much bein done on her but she is nr finished just one or two things more to go on her as im not goin to fit the main 400 railins till she had her maiden voyage an just to fit all her crew figurs on her an some life raft container an her warning decals an white ensign flag as she has not got too much wire riggin unless ive forgotten anything eles oh an to wire in her eletric hareness them power boosters so this yr may be her launch yr just got to hope im back in good health then the wheather to contend with an holl makers for a car park for us
ATB an have a nice new yr Gerry

Not good with the kidney stone - hope that you'll pass it without too much bother. :thumb2:
Yep - Grimes Granes is a fairly spooky place - looks very 'moon-ish' with shallow dips and craters on the surface, but it's the ones that are open for visitors that blow the mind - bearing in mind that it was THE place in the UK for top quality flint from the stone age through to when flintlock rifles stopped being used, and the two or three that are open were dug back in the stone age with just the antlers and shoulder blades of animals! https://nortonsafe.search.ask.com/se...c92a&qo=navTop

Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

So sorry to hear this Chris. I hope it passes and is not serious, so you can get back to normal shortly my friend. Also glad to see you have gotten the wiring troubles fixed and all 4 props are spinning again. I do think it is a little too late to mount up sails on her for the maiden voyage, especially if there is no wind... Please take care of yourself and best wishes to Jen.

                Prost and Gute Besserung

Chris so sorry to read that you've been struck down with stones, hope you improve very soon .

                        I've had a word with Matron !
She was last seen getting onto her bike clutching a vary large bag marked Pump .

I spent a very pleasant week on the Broads some years ago , Stalham Market was like something out of the 16 th century , people bidding fiercely for some binder twine and chicken wire. Strange place and even stranger people :flushed:

Sorry you are not well, Chris. I once had a kidney stone problem, it lasted just few hours, then the stone moved down towards its natural exit but I still remember those few hours as the most painful in my life.
For sure you Norfolk people are very tough: dealing with that problem for a week and a half and still trying to model! :thumb2:

My best wishes for a complete and fast recovery.
