Hi,
Since I am into ship building mode now I took out one of my shelf Queens and dusted it. The Skywave USS Bogue now boxed under Tamiya. I had great ideas to rename it to a British Royal Navy escort carrier with Martlets and Swordfish aircraft on her decks...alas it fizzled out. So this is what it looks like now...

Man...did I have so much time then to drillout the hatches and replace with PE...all along the running side-walks.

The PE hatches can be quite convincing opened with a hollowed out doorway.

The PE set from Goldmedal was in stainless steel which was sharp in detail but quite hard to bend. After taking this out tragedy struck. Cat decided to re-arrange the table and I lost the radar antennae. Used a railing to replace it.

Another shot of a teased open door...I definitely had more time then.

Let's see if I have courage to finish this
Cheers,
Richard
