        Hi Ron
Deck looks good. Interested in seeing how you widen that section of deck.

With such a crew list as I have now, we need fear no one!

            Issue the rum!:hungry:

....put some Coke and ice in the rum for 453.

            Update.
Using plastic card, I made a completely new outer section and packed this out from the existing, making it flush with the hull edge. Then fixed two support stanchions. All fixed with polystyrene glue.

Happy with the alterations, I proceeded with some first coat painting. As a start, I'm brushing on Vallejo Air - 'Dark Gull Grey'

I was happy with the result so far, but then the proverbial hit the fan.

Deep down, I was NOT happy! More later in the build.........

            Cheers,
            Ron

                  Thanks for the input chaps.

                  You'll have to wait.

Any road up, a bit of delicious anticipation is good for the soul.

                      Chris and Tim, you win.
I was going to leave it as a 'cliffhanger' to try and keep the build in sequence, but I'll post it now.

No real drama, but referring back to the modification earlier, I didn't realise the two gun positions also needed to be brought forward to the hull edge and I was hoping to 'Forget' the fact, but they kept looking at me......

So after me painting the thing, thinking it was finished, I had to do more butchering.......

Second, and final go. Not a great deal of difference, but enough to be annoyingly nagging if left.

I know it's not accurate but it is near enough for me.
Now I can finally move on to the superstructure. Where I know a ruck more similar work awaits me..:cold-sweat:

I hope you two fine chaps approve of the mod? Rest easy!
