    Hi Ron
That rigging looks great. Taut but not so tight it has distorted thin plastic masts etc. I must try that UHU glue - advantages over CA.

Don't know if you've used it before Jim, but the slightest amount of pressure on the tube and it literary pours out, and very stringy to boot. But sticks.

Quite right 453, it does pour out, especially this weather!

Jim, I use a safety pin to apply the stuff. I tried a wooden cocktail stick, but the glue clogged the end after a few apps. Whereas the former is easy to keep clean and sharp......

                Yes, that's the stuff. :thumb2:

Be aware Jim, as the actress said to the Bishop "Although you do get a few seconds adjustment time, that is all you get!"

My HMS Hood is finally a waterline model.
I think I can hear some folks asking the question "Why not do this at the very start of the build?"

                    Easy answer.
When you get to my age, an 'exciting' or any sort of grind, is rare, so I took the opportunity of having one with the vessel this afternoon. Hence the reason for leaving it so late in the build. Where's the fun in a straight forward, no worries version!

                    Here's the exciting grind!

Any wobbles will be well hidden in the up and down 'oggin.

Oh, and I did the grinding sat on my lounger in the sunshine!:flushed: :thumb2:

That’s looking excellent Ron….very brave to take on the water lining after the rigging though. Are you in need of a little excitement in your life or something :tongue-out3:

Will have to remember the UHU trick.

Splendid job 570, with regards to your question the answer is nothing at all is getting built at the moment as this terrible weather has turned my workroom (attic) into a close relative of a furnace so I have been out on my bike every day, much to the annoyance of Saint Greta and the Save the Planet gang. :tongue-out:

                                Thanks boys.

...as I was trying to imply with my earlier post. 'The more on the edge a grind, the more memorable.'

I trust that last sentence will get past the sensors! :flushed:
