Take your time Peter. They are very tricky little ships to paint. For the very small detail, I use a piece of sharpened sprue. A wooden cocktail stick goes soggy at the end and smudges the paint.
I won't even mention the rigging!.....Oops, I have haven't I?
These 'Mini Ships' make up into very nice models. -

Wow, that’s gaming scale stuff! I had the Airfix 1/1200 when I was a kid, lovely little model. This brings back nostalgic memories for me. Going together OK by the look of it. Who originally made the plastic on this? Can’t imagine it was The Works.Comment

Work done on the upper hill adding more parts.
And here's the reason why I bought another kit as the AA guns are the smallest parts as I lost three when I did my tirpz.

And finally the AA guns all went on with none lost I have noticed the end one is out of place and forgive the tiny bit of thread intrusion mind you it does give a sense of how small it is.Comment
