Its been four days mate. Did you walk back from Australia or something?
Had some work to finish in Tallinn and just got home today. My wife has a very long list of stuff for me to do after being away a week and then off to Filton in the morrow.
Patience brings a satisfying reward.

This is my progress so far in my first ever ship build. It’s out of the box but for the self adhesive deck. I had always gazed longingly at these Tamiya ship kits in endless model shops, often never having the money or bottle to get stuck into one. With many kits, I see these Tamiya ships as one of those models you should have a go at as a “rite of passage” experience.
I haven’t a clue about ships except they get wet and are full of people I’d hate to be couped up with, and they sometimes sink. So I’m sure the fish heads amongst us can point out any glaring errors in my build or pass on any tips.
The bull and main deck are pretty much done with some of the super structure advanced too. I’m scratching me head about how to paint the upper decks and structures without too much effing and blinding over masking.
