I will do that Brian, the workbench was used for my house rebuilt over 10 years, so has seen a lot of use, now it sees more sedate use.

Hope you will post more on this Garry , esp when it's actually in the water finished .
Nothing better than having the room to work in, esp where you can just leave it .

Hi Chris, unfortunately no bits have come yet, however there has been an update on tracking, that the parcel actually left the UK on 16th February. Now that is after it was posted on 16th December, and remember it was ordered in October!!!! Royal Mail strikes and cyber attacks certainly played havoc with my parcel.
I have however been cracking on with the electrics, and have managed to get motors, lights and rudders to work as they should.
Here are some pics that I tried to take in the dark last night, but my phone didn't take the best pics, but you'll get the idea.

I got stuck in with the hairy stick and painted the white heli deck lines and the yellow and black warning markings on the foredeck, and now she is starting to liven up a bit.
I'm waiting for the transfers for the depth markings and the various stickers that I think I will need from Fox Transfers, and I have also ordered the raised letters for the name on the port and starboard stern quarters from Slaters, which will hopefully not take too very long to get here.

HI Garry oh yes love your warning signs around the 4.5 inch gun lookes great
an your helo lines are a lot more easy to do than mine on norfolk as i had to do loads of lines maybe because she was the lead ship of he class but more so complex but your flightdeck markins look great this is turning into a cracker of a ship model brilliant work an i show your I/D to a boaty m8 an he was stunned that you built it in such a short time an very impresed an he said pity you dint live here as a lot of the members up the boat club have gone over to trucks why i cant understand as there is a whackin great 600 ft long pond an they do trucks
