I'm trying to source a suitable helo locally Chris, I thought it was a Wildcat or Lynx, but I'll see if I can find a 1/72 Merlin then. I'm not too fussy about which one to use, they did seem to use all different types at various times.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

WELL Garry the R/N helos on our ships was mainly lynx has 8 or a seaking but mainly now a merlin E101 an ITALEYEARA make a very good one which can be all uncliped on the port side so it possible to make the door open so can be seen inside like mine but up to you

I took advantage of a glorious summers day, and gave HMS Iron Duke her first wet bottom.
Fortunately no leaks, just a minor drop from the port prop shaft, so will need to re-grease that.
I will need to add some ballast fore, and she has a slight list to starboard as well, that I will need to address.
A couple of the guys sailing their RC yachts came over to have a look, and were very interested.

She looks good afloat Garry.......might want to hold off on addressing that "list" till you get all her superstructure in place along with any peripheral equipment as well as ballast in place.......just thinking out loud...... :thumb2:

It does indeed Tim, but perhaps more a sigh of relief :smiling2:

Yes I will be happy once the fittings arrive, and as to operational extras, so far it is just lights and rotating radar.
