Ive only rigged two builds one a 1/700 and it was a lot easier than i thought it was gonna be, its got a lot of stretch so you dont have to pull to hard on it, my masts were fine.

Looks very good Brian. Maybe a trip to a library could solve the problem. Personally £20-£30 on a book to help build a boat that has taken £300 out the beer token collection is a small price to pay.Comment

Study the drawings. take copies you can write on and alter. (computer editing is ace for this remove the bits in the way on the PC and then print out for reference).
Start in the middle of the Ship and work out to the edges.
Make a couple of tools. (or buy) A stift wire (piano wire) make a point in the end and then form an open hook. The straight bit being long enough to reach athwartships. (one side to the other that is). Likewise a Superglue tool that can reach deep into the center of the deck area.
Other than that it is good light, clean specs and a steady hand. (And a positive attitude).Comment
