I am lucky in that I built a painting room in my garage, saved Julie the job of killing me for gassing her lol

Hi Chris. Yes, I have the 1/200 Trumpeter Bismarck and the Pontos etch. This is Brian’s thread though so I won’t say anymore.
Can’t get enough of these big ship builds though, they look stunning when complete. The detail that can be put into them is awesome, as Brian is demonstrating.
              Cheers, P

Morning guys I need to go to the model shop this morning for some primer and clearcoat then decide what I'm going to do. I want to start the bridge superstructure but also want to get the hull painted.

That's all I done guys

One other thing is I messed my airbrush up getting bad blowback needle looks fine as does the nozzle but the nozzle seal looks suspect, anyway i put the 0.15 needle in and it works fine so I ordered needle kit 0.4 not very good with airbrushes and it's been a long time since I used one!!

Omg I just fixed my airbrush by simply tightening up the nozzle cap Doh!!!! oh well got some spares now.

Going to have to start painting parts before I build as masking will be a pain, I'm glad I got back into the hobby though

Brian, I'd like to have the same luck confidence you have with PE.
An impressive work. Looking forward for the next steps.
