I'm going to have to paint something soon lol. running out of room.

Think I'll start with the hull, then the deck. (as suggested in the destructions!)

          Laters!

After a week of 4AM wake up calls.... We're all grown ups, we know why. I slept through to almost 8! I still had to get up to pee at 4AM but managed to get back to sleep.
The cat was not happy. (says the wife).

So with rested eyes I set about it.
              The fun of welded rungs.
Start with removing the moulded detail from the part, with the aid of a little PE pattern, mark the position of the rungs:

I used needle then drilled them a little with the second smallest drill bit I have. (I broke the smallest one).

Cut the required number of rungs off the fret of PE. Big they are not!

Repeat for the other one and then find you have to put a grab rail right around the catwalk. On the edge, naturally. The cylinders are, by the way, about 1cm in diametre.
              Onward and upwards.

This will be a huge and very detailed build.
I will pull a chair to watch this one.

The boss was working this AM. so I sloped of to my office. had a bash at the first four boats... The first one has all the PE added. the three others just the main bits that can be seen. All the bits I will never see again and some parts not even big enough to notice got left off.
Still need to add the grab rails to the roof though.

Holy clutter ..... A tiny boat 2 - 3cm long and you can get away with it. In this size.... That's just embarrassing! lol
Bit of clean up needed I think.
