        I finally got to the point where I can start planking the first parts are at the stern it looks a bit messy that will be sorted at the end and the the first large side piece at the stern on the port side and painted before being attached Click image for larger version

              You can't rush that sort of work. Is this a kit where there is a double layer of planks?

                Yes and luckily all the portholes are pre drilled
