Academy 1/800th USS Carl Vinson

Hi guys, heres my next project, the Academy 1/800 USS Carl Vinson Aircraft carrier.

Heres the obligitory box and sprue shots!!!!

The basic hull is one piece, got the elevator platforms and other bits and pieces fitted.

Some of the detailings a bit basic, but it does come with 48 tiny aircraft and deck vehicles!!!!

The hull and stern sections all finished now, prop tubes on and deck fitted

Hi guys, progress has been slow for a few weeks, some of the reason being I do my modelling in our conseratory, and as our bathroom and toilet has been bodgedly replaced by council contracted workers, and they have been coming in and out, and generally making a mess, I packed my stuff away to save it getting ruined!!!

But anyway, I digress, superstructure and mast completed, aerials (all made from stretched sprue) fitted, and now all primed
