    Very nice peter , I love old sailing ships but the rigging puts me off it's something you can't really scrimp on

        Looking superb Peter, the deck looks okay in that colour. That is some serious gilding work.

            Here's how its going i have all the deck fittings on and cannons on the upper decks and have installed the cannons on the port and starboard sides still lots to come.

                Looking good Peter.

                I know it's a pain when you have so many to do, but you'd improve the looks of your cannon by 200% if you drilled out the barrels.

                Alternatively, you could paint them as if they had some sort of cover over the end - maybe to protect them from salt water and prevent corrosion; although I'm not sure that was done.
