      Almost finished i have the masts on and all the main building is finished only the rigging(oh joy) and the sails to go.

          doing a great job there, if you like the guilding you should try the soverign of the seas another excelent Airfix kit i have built that on 3 times i love these old ships, you're doing a first rate job there.

            Thanks i have got to the rigging on this one but i have to be in the right frame of mind to finish it i will one day.

                As I seem to be in a rigging mood I thought it was  high time i finished this one as it's been sitting on the cupboard for the last two years so here's the result of a couple of days rigging and cleaning two years of dust away.

                  Looking great Peter, imho think it would look a lot better if you gave the coloured paint (not the gold) a matt coat as they were not painted with gloss paint.

                    It will be getting a matt coat at the end  as  I this got from a charity shop one half was already paint but thanks for pointing it out
