    Great work Graham,

Very tempted to try this type of kit some time soon. Have been trying to resist buying the Dragon's Scharnhorst. Cheers Derek

      Thanks for the comments.

Caledonia, I've just looked up that kit. I can see why you are having trouble resisting it.

Here is a quick update, the first part of the superstructure. I bought some E-Z thread and thought I'd rig the booms. I have glued them in place as they kept swinging out and getting in the way.

Alan, the guns fitted perfectly. In fact they were such a good fit I did'nt need to glue them in.

The bridge is now complete, just need to paint and add the fore mast and rig it. There is about 20 - 30 pieces of PE in the fore mast.

Alan, I remember that from you build log. I had to take the foremast top apart as I put the aeriel on before putting the yards on!

A bit of progress with the fore mast rigging. The pictures make the thread look thick, but I am using fine E-Z thread.

Great work on the PE Graham. One trick for fine rigging is to use very thin copper wire. Cheers Derek
